Getting Your Loan
A simple
qualification form takes just a few minutes to fill out -- and in most
cases, the information you provide is sent immediately to multiple
lenders across the U.S.
Within a
matter of seconds, hours or a day or so, depending on the loan type
and loan company, you'll begin receiving real loan offers from the
lenders themselves -- not "leads" or phony come-ons.
Review
your loan offers and choose the one that's best for you.
Tips From A Millionaire *
If you pay
cash for a $20,000 car, you give up forever the compound interest you
would have earned on that $20,000 for the rest of your
life (which could be well over a hundred thousand
dollars or more on $20,000 @ 6% depending on your current age).
The real
interest you pay for a loan is not just the interest you pay the loan
company. It's that interest less the
interest you earn on your own money wisely invested ... plus other
factors such as inflation etc.
-
Tip 2 -
Build a savings habit
Put some
money into savings or investments every week. Break the spending habit
and build the savings habit. At 6% interest money doubles every 12
years.
-
Tip
3 - Never speculate foolishly or invest in a get rich quick scheme
That's
gambling and gambling is never investing.
Get professional
investment advice only and get it from
more than one professional
source. Avoid brokers or others who offer promises or make
representations of quick wealth, or claim that they know or 'spoke
with' an insider, company officer, etc. Beware of words like
"guaranteed income", "lifetime guarantee", and
other exaggerated claims. They usually mean here today, gone tomorrow.
Hype means run. The dot.com stocks were better called the dot.con
stocks cause most folks got conned.
Many online but Federally insured banks pay 1 to 2% or so more than local banks. Before signing up,
however, check the online features of your local bank.
If you
prefer your bank a little closer to home you can usually still get the
online benefits. America's largest banks including Bank America offer many great
online features at a low or no cost. These institutions offer bill
payment, E-Bill, download to Quicken or other and related services for a cost usually lower than the
cost of postage stamps! Software like Microsoft
Money, Quicken, and so on integrate seamlessly with your bank
accounts and often your brokerage accounts and permit you to pay
online or print your own check or help figure and
pay your taxes.

Get
legal counseling - your favorite attorney down the street is usually
your best bet, but your 2nd best (as a legal reference only) may be
legal software on a disk such as Quicken Lawyer .
Never,
never, never accept financial, legal or medical advice in a chat room
on the internet and listen politely to your friends then go to a
professional and even if you have to pay, pay for sound advice.
Free advice is rarely free and if you are not reasonably cautious, it
can cost you dearly.
Shred printed bank statements and
switch to online banking and let the bank print and mail your checks!
Why? Using programs like Bank America offers, no checks come back to
you in the mail and your signature does not appear on your checks!
Tear up or shred your old credit card receipts especially if they have
your account number on them. Don't give
"friends" or anyone else access to your purse, wallet, bank
info, or any other personal financial or legal data. Identity theft
is a major problem worldwide!
For example: this "advice" is
only my opinion based on my (not your) experience.
It may not be right for you. Test any new ideas for validity to you
and to your situation before jumping in.
