Saving Money In Your Business
It Was Mike's Idea
-
Mike Clark
Mike began working for U.S.
Computer Corporation about 20 years ago shortly after retiring
from a 20 year US Navy career.
See story of how
and why we hired him
below.
Mike has over 35 years of computer and
electronics training and experience.
-
Way back in May 1991,
Mike stopped in our 66th St store and wanted to buy a new Computer from us.
We told him he'd have to wait
a few days to pick it up.
He said he was an experienced computer
man. So we said here are the parts and sure enough, he built the
computer right then and there. We were so impressed with his
knowledge, skills and credentials, we hired him on the spot. And
that was about 20 years ago.
Like
all employees Mike worked in all areas of our business. In 1995 he
was promoted to store manager. In 1998 Mike became general
manager. In 2004, Mike became an officer of our corporation and in
2007 became a Vice President of U.S. Computer Corporation.

I. Mike's Tips: How
To Cut Your Business Phone Bill In Half -
"eFax v the Phone
Company"
We cut our fax & phone bill in half
by cancelling our fax phone lines & our extra trunk line, shutting off
our fax machines and fax-only computer and switching to eFax which
now provides our Fax and voice mail services. They do it
all online so we now have no dedicated fax machines or phone
recorders.
eFax lets you get faxes by email as
well as online and send faxes via email as well as online by
printing them to eFax or by simply emailing your outgoing faxes. And they throw in optical character
recognition software free so you can convert faxes to text. We love
it, you will too.
Find out how eFax delivers faxes right to your email inbox - with
option to upgrade and include voice mail. Try it free – instant
activation and they even have some Pinellas/Tampa Bay numbers available!.
P.S. our new efax fax/voice mail
number for the Largo store is 727-499-0945. Try it out!
Recently Mike recommended to us that we
offer a better way for our business customers to get priority
service in a working environment without the economic burden of
a service contract.
Mike
wanted us to offer our business customers the option of on site
service without the necessity of having the restrictions and
limitations of a service contract.
He suggested we, in the best interest of a business customers
problems, at times, needed to offer the customer the option of
having both on site review and on site service, because for the
most part business systems are interconnected with other
business systems in a network environment, and that all of these
conditions may not be able to be replicated in our shop.
Then
Mike pointed out that many people got the shaft who purchased a
multi year contract and the dealer who took their money went
broke or otherwise disappeared.
Mike's last request was that the service be affordable!
In response we now offer: USC's Onsite Service
Program For Businesses.
Call
Mike at 727-530-4561 for more information on this cost effective
program.
